August 2016 contest: Theme Pokémon  

  Shaymin - is a Grass type Pokémon introduced in Generation 4. They is known as the Gratitude Pokémon. Shaymin live in flower patches and avoid detection by curling up to look like a flowering plant. Shaymin are able to dissolve toxins in the air to transform ruined land into a lush field of flowers. When sensing gratitude, the flowers all over their body burst into bloom. _{Didn't realise that there was two flowers till I was looking for a pic to go with the description.}

 Jirachi is a Steel/Psychic type Pokémon introduced in Generation 3. They is known as the Wish Pokémon. They are said to able to grant any wishes written on the tags on their head once awake. They only wake up for seven days once every thousand years. If in danger, they will fight without waking up.

 Celebi is a Psychic/Grass type Pokémon introduced in Generation 2. They are known as the Time Travel Pokémon. They are referred to as the guardian of forests, protecting and nourishing them as they travels through time. _{I ad-lib a few areas on Celebi cause I didn't like the way their waist area or the way the area where the boots met the pants.}

 Meloetta - is a Normal/Psychic type Pokémon introduced in Generation 5. They are known as the Melody Pokémon. Legend says that they once played a song and danced so lightly, they filled people's hearts with joy. However, when sorrow darkened the world, they lost the melody.



Ok, this is my first attempt at trying to make girls in cosplay outfits look like pokemon. The only one of these that I really like is Shaymin. I kinda like the others but my critics a.k.a. both of my sibling this time dislike all of them.

I was trying for the smaller Mythical Pokémon and It wasn't till I finished making Celebi that I remembered what had prompted me to start on Shaymin. It had been 's entry for this contest and her version of Celebi.  Mythical Pokémon were considered to be Legendary Pokémon prior to Generation V in non-Japanese media, but are now considered a separate, related group of Pokémon.

I haven't decided if this is what I want to enter for August 2016 contest or not. In the interest of time, as I am working on several other dolls I will use this as my entry for the contest. Might try and make another batch of diff Pokémon and see what I like better. Maybe the eeveelutions as I love eevees or all dark type as that is one of my fave types. Which is weird that I didn't pick any of those for this.

Also I pick Meloetta instead of Mew cause I wasn't sure on making Mew's tail. However since I did a terrible job on Meloetta their hair in perticular I guess I could have done Mew. Also I didn't want to do 5 Pokémon cause after 4 it starts to get a bit tight. These are also out of order and that is bugging me but this is the order I made them in. While I did use the girl models in the maker all of these Pokémon, the gender of every Mythical Pokémon is unknown. And as such I tried to make sure to use no gender specific pronouns.
